Audition Workshop
Audition with confidence! You will sharpen your technique as your prepare for film, commercial, and stage auditions. Actors will learn the ins and outs of the business of acting in Boston and will be encouraged to pursue professional opportunities. Designed for actors interested in establishing themselves in the professional world. Prior actor training and/or experience required. You will work on preparing at least 2 effective contrasting audition monologues, and on cold reading skills for stage and on-camera auditions.
Saturday 3-5, April 26-May 31, 6 sessions, $150
Enrollment limited to 6 actors.

Class size is strictly limited. Acceptance into all classes is at the discretion of the instructor and an interview is required. Tuition is non-refundable. In cases of extreme hardship credit may be given towards a future semester at the discretion of the director.

Performance Opportunities:
Apollinaire Theatre Company Productions: Apollinaire Theatre Company is an active company, and students have gone on to be involved in productions in a variety of capacities: as Actor, Director, Stage Manager, Designer, and House Manager.


Faculty:
Artistic Director Danielle Fauteux Jacques has directed over 50 plays including Rhinoceros by Eugene Ionesco, The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, Anger Box by Jeff Goode, which toured to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bash by Neil LaBute, and The Eiffel Tower Wedding Party by Jean Cocteau. She has appeared extensively on stage, and stars in the award winning independent film, Desperate Measures, directed by Tom Robotham. Danielle holds an MA from Emerson College and an MFA from Florida Atlantic University, and has studied acting at American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and with the Moscow Art Theatre School. Danielle has taught acting at Florida Atlantic University, the Panaro Workshop in Miami, and the Actors Workshop. Along with Apollinaire's Actor Training Program, she currently teaches at Bunker Hill Community College.
